Effective Parenting Skills Development
Anyone with children has had one or more of the following experiences and knows how exhausting any of these behaviors can be: Whining, not listening, lying, power struggles, not going to bed or getting out of bed, issues around homework, ... the list goes on and on. While some children may have underlying medical issues that require traditional psychotherapy, many of the day-to-day behaviors can be addressed effectively through parenting skills development. The methodology we teach is very easy to understand and follow. Our experience as well as academic research has proven that this approach is extremely effective when applied consistently. Once you have mastered our steps you feel more confident, in control and relaxed as a parent. You will see a marked improvement in your child's behavior and your whole family will be less stressed and together you will feel a greater enjoyment of life.
“Before I got married I had six theories about raising children; now, I have six children and no theories.”

Fall workshop starts on October 01 and ends on November 5, 2019
Our Parent Support Workshop series provides parents with a supportive & judgement-free group environment in which to share experiences, gain knowledge about personal parenting style, and learn how to reach individual parenting goals more effectively. We will tailor strategies to your child's developmental age.
We start with sharing our family’s story and gain an understanding on how this guides our parenting experience. We then move into specific strategies for addressing challenging behaviors and emotional wellbeing.
Topic areas addressed throughout the series include:
· Communicating through conflict with love, compassion & empathy
· Developing confidence in your inner values to guide behavior management
· Developing healthy boundaries in your parenting relationships
· Understanding how the mind and body connect and communicate and the implications in parenting
· Combating entitlement by developing security and gratitude in our children
